[indent] How the relationship ever started is quite a mystery. It's no surprise that Azira is great at hiding her intentions from other people, but to keep the charade up for this long is almost ridiuculous. Azira has no reason to believe that Floran would stay with her if he ever found out about her shady past, and even her profession as part of the Karill clan. This gathering has been the longest they've been in each other's presence, and while Azira probably has some genuine feelings for the man deep down, she hopes that her lies can at least keep it steamy a while longer.
 
Unfortunately Floran lives for the black-and-white of society, while Azira has spent most of her life hiding in the shades of gray.[/indent]

[indent] It is a bit of a performer's crush, and one that Azira watches from quite a distance. She's enamoured with the young girl's face and the bright and cheery way that she tells stories. It's such a contrast to her own dreary, macabre performance. Yes, the bright glimmer of sunshine that is Ophelia makes Azira wonder if it would ever be possible for her to escape the dark shadow that she's cast over herself her entire life.
