His move was successful as he was able to skid underneath the ghastly greatshield to catch a glimpse of what was behind it. He caught sight of a small imp looking demon holding onto the shield... no, not holding onto it, it seemed like one arm of the pitiful looking creature was actually fused into the metal itself in some horrid conjoinment. Once he was behind it, the demon turned and spotted him. He had a moment to act.
