Yeah, while not established as canon I always imagined the mantle as being filled to the brim with fire djinn. That's probably why most of Galbar's volcanic eruptions happen in the first place! Mantle gets crowded so a buncha guys decide to move on out to the surface.

We can maybe weave this into the larger plot with Murmur and Basheer's crusade against Jvan.
