One player wants something, so you'll sideline [i]everyone[/i] else? Um... doesn't that seem unfair to you?

That's not what I was talking about, anyway. I was talking about the [i]first[/i] fight. By making the [i]initial[/i] opponents far too much for the characters to handle, it makes supposed starting skills worthless (because there's no opportunity to utilise them and demonstrate anything) and all in all gives a terrible impression of the [i]characters[/i] to each other.
