However, she wasn't completely unscathed, as the field had caught her arm and send coursing waves of pain rattling through her body. Her arm felt numb and rigid, but she would recover. Sure, the man wouldn't be taken down that quickly and easily. But, neither would she. "This man is dangerous both at range and up-close.." Marianne thought, trying to figure out how to engage. "He knows more than one spell as well, more than myself potentially." Of course he did, he appeared to be a much more accomplished mage than herself. So, how could she continue? What course of action could she take? Whittle him down until her allies could aid her? Or should she move on to a different target and force him to defend his own allies? Group them together, perhaps? Stabbing her electrified sword into the ground, the blade easily sinking down due to the power coursing through it, Marianne drew her bow and clutched at a multitude of arrows in her offhand. With speed and intensity, she then side strafed around them as she sent arrow after arrow flying at the lightning mage and the necromancer in a bid to keep up the pressure and distract the two of them sufficiently enough for her stronger comrades to do their work. She wasn't alone, after all. She didn't have to fight one on one. If she could buy the others time, then perhaps they could regroup and come up with something new sufficient enough to end this.
