Anyways, I don't know if there's any restriction on using mixed-blood characters, especially because I don't know of any examples in the TM universe and thus I don't know how powerful they can be. I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait on Dawnscroll for that.

Regarding familiars, they are artificially created or made a pact with, so it should be included in his Magecraft tab.
