There's no rush, honest! 

Although, if it helps you, you can just touch on the major parts in the history and just let us know the rest later, so long as it's just fleshing things out rather than introducing new ideas. Character sheets are more or less a reference to that character to keep them consistent, they don't have to be like 3000 word behemoths.
