[@LuckyBlackCat] Tommy stood at an intersection a couple blocks from where he was supposed to meet Cici, the irritation getting hard to keep off his face. He'd been standing here for the last ten minutes because there were two or three hot shot trainers who'd decided that a makeshift battle in everyone's way was a good idea. Amica was with him, calling out to the other Pokemon to try and get them to stop long enough to let them by before he was too late getting there. It was bad enough he'd let his practice run over, which he hoped Cici wouldn't be upset about. Finally, fifteen minutes in, one of the trainers realized they were holding up a bunch of people and let the others know and Tommy slipped by, using a light jog. He was excited for the day to get started and he'd swung by the pokemart this morning and picked up another pokeball in case they came across one Tommy would want to add to his team. The prospect was exciting, but he was somewhat disappointed to know that there were no fighting types in or near Central City, but maybe he could get a flying type in their place. He continued thinking on it as he approached the sandwich shop and stopped to look around. Wow, the place is full already. Forgot how popular it was with the breakfast crowd. Eventually he saw his new friend after a couple of minutes of standing on his toes and he smiled, working through the crowd towards her. As he approached he noticed that she wasn't as cheery as she was yesterday and he persed his lips thoughtfully. He was worried about her, but he also didn't want to overstep his boundaries either. After all, they'd only known each other for a day. In the end, after much internal strife as he approached her, he decided he'd ask. Tapping her shoulder lightly, he smiled. "Hey, everything alright?"
