David picked Surge and Mike. He knew of Searge's but asked Mike's Mike said "I can do this." He closed his eyes and a purple buble surrounded him. 'must be a shield.' David thought. "Alright. Rules. No attempt to kill. When your opponent is tired, doesnt want to spar anymore, or is unconsious thespar is over." He walked back and said "Begin." He watched as Searge used his shockwave. MIke looked scared but used his shield. It held but soon broke. Mike fell back, panting. David knew this kid could control his power but needed to overcome his fear. Searge was about to do another but David ended the match. He helped Mike up and said "Who is next?"
Jean sighed and slowly put the cerebro. She felt the voices again almost instantly.'concentrate Jean. Focus on only mutant thoughts. just mutant thoughts.' The voices weakened some but still heard a lot. She shook but tried to concentrate on finding the mutants.
Anthony remembered the Brotherhood. His dad talked about them. Anthony said "The original Magneto caused one. I heard he had three other kids before David. I'm not sure what happened to them though. " He sipped his drink. "A mutant war will be awful. Some mutants are stronger then a Nuke. I agree that Xavier's academy the teachers there could only do so much."
