Yuu doesn't have to protect Aegis - she'd be somewhat insulted if Yuu did. She's called Aegis for a reason - a soldier with an ability deemed somewhat between an 'Immovable Wall' and 'Ultimate Shield'.

Thankfully, She's not an idiot and wouldn't go around trying to [i]actually[/i] lock her in a closet unless she was completely pissed off at her for whatever reason, or was certain she wasn't going to 100% rage. Aegis would never do something that would disrupt the potential teamwork of her comrades, unless it was something she felt was greatly important - such as saving a civilian or such.

Honestly though - I don't see Ai and Aegis getting along well. At least, not to start with, but we'll see.
