[@Archmage MC] actually not really true. DC would be better off without Batman hogging the shelves. DC has a huge universe with heroes that barely get spotlight do to the trinity's mythos being so massive. Also Superman is weak against magic and red sunlight, and he will run out of power when he uses his heat vision too much. Superman isn't about the powers, it's about the image. Superman is more recognized across world than any other hero. Even third world countries recognize his symbol. His symbol is literally as famous as the christian cross.

Superman is best when his morals expressed and I'm glad they have turned him into a comical hero, which Marvel has done for most of their universe now. There are more OP characters in my opinion with less weaknesses and every comic company can't stop ripping Superman off so the character will always be an icon.
