To be fair, the first two blasts came from flash and frag grenades, so Duncan, who spent six years at war and the entirety of his teenage years training as a commando wouldn't exactly have to be standing close by to pick that noise out from the background, and I tried to subtly infer that he got there quicker than most would be able to due to the freakish strength of his legs.

That last explosion leveled a few houses, though. So everyone in or around the tavern should've heard that one [i]and[/i] seen a helluva smoke plume. <_<
