Bear was awesome both in The World and in the Real World.  Sometimes it was easy to forget that The World was an MMO and everyone might not be the same age they present themselves as or even the same gender.  Heck, I remember one theory that BT is actually like ten people or something like that using the same hacker character avatar.

I'd offer some suggestions but a few are not great and it's probably even harder now to find any copies of the game for a reasonable price.  At least there's internet recordings?  A pity.

Mr L isn't short.  He's tall!  In fact considering how short many species in the Mushroom World tend to be, he's practically a giant.  Pridemoor doesn't look very tall in-game.  In fact, most of that height is helmet!  He's lying about his height!  The dastard!
