Righting Relfex: Jibanyan can re-orient himself and land safely on his four feet from certain height. Paws of Fury: Jibanyan can unleash a barrage of punches that can hit multiple targets. Home: Jibanyan decided to clean up a sturdy storage house, one just large enough to be cozy for him. Having salvaged whatever furniture he could find, Jibanyan had managed to prepare an abode comfortable enough for himself. Of course, this was a far cry from the cozy two-floor house he previously lived in, but it's still better than sleeping in the open, considering the village's track record for visits from malevolent creatures. Personality: Much like a live cat, Jibanyan is a carefree and laid-back spirit. A slacker by habit, he prefers to lounge under the sun and loaf around whenever possible. He prefers to let others do the heavy lifting whenever possible and is quick to flee when spooked, especially by creatures bigger and more menacing than himself. However, in dire situations, he’s known to be quick on his feet and eager to fight even though he is often outclassed by the other inhabitants of the village. Jibanyan is relatively easy to approach and befriend, in no small part due to his docile appearance and friendly demeanor. Though he can be sarcastic and cowardly, he is loyal to his friends and will stand with them through thick and thin. He tries to be the voice of reason among his new friends in the village, though he's not immune to whatever hijinks he gets dragged into. Backstory: A cat that died when it got ran over by a truck and was reincarnated into a spirit, Jibanyan used to live with another human who accepted him as a friend in spite of his non-living status and enjoyed living with him, along with another know-it-all spirit, in exchange for literally being at said human’s beck and call whenever he got into trouble, sometimes much to the cat’s chagrin. Jibanyan is also not his true name, but one that he adopted after his death. Life in the Town: When he first arrived, Jibanyan was, unsurprisingly, distressed to find himself in an unfamiliar place and surrounded by unfamiliar beings. Not only was he cut off from his friends, human and spirits alike, he also had no access to his favorite food: chocolate bar. Adding to his list of horrors was the spawn of strange assortments that came to the village, most of which had given him and the ragtag bunch of misfits trapped with him all sorts of trouble, to say the least. Nowadays, Jibanyan takes the time to go around and patrol the village. He likes to wander off wherever he pleases in the village, butt stays away from the forest after being nearly eaten by what he thought was a malevolent frilled lizard spirit. While he tries to live his life in the same carefree manner he used to back in his own world, Jibanyan will also monitor the tower from a safe distance in case there is anything that would require the village’s self-appointed protectors’ attention, which also means another opportunity for him to try and sit out of the coming trouble, key word being try. Prized Possession: A silver collar with an aquamarine bell, given to him by his first owner. Jibanyan has it since he was still alive.
