Archer went to bed, dreaming about Hana, and what he had done wrong. He woke up with a start, and got into his recruit uniform, walking outside in the cold breeze. He couldn't protect her when she was taken by them. But he would change that. "I'll always protect you, Hana. I promise you that. Even if you hate me, I'll protect you."
