[@LadyRunic] Just wrote a terribly long post talking about my CS... but my pc froze and I lost everything T__T this is what I could remember of it About the appearance, I actually had a picture (I often build my characters around a picture) but I refrained to use it. Around 2,40m light green eyes, Agarwaen is a Sylvan elf hailing from Mirkwood (that's why I said that he does not have any bad feelings towards dwarves, different from others from his kind.) spell check: sorry... I was travelling and wrote it from my cellphone... I use my cellphone to write in 3 different languages, so my auto corrector is very fcked up... this and the fact that my fingers are too big to press those tiny buttons -__- What I thought originally in my css was he and his parents were watching closely Sauron and when he started to menace the natural balance, they had to go to the war. They had a rule: to never directly take part in a war, unless absolutely necessary. That rule had to be revoked when the War of the last Alliance began. Sauron was too big of a threat... The alliance was enough proof. His power was big enough to make such a big alliance against him. Agarwaen himself had to go to that war together with his parents due to their group's rules. His parents died together with Isildur in the Battle of the Gladden Fields, trying to protect the ring. Agarwaen, just like his father, didn't believed that Sauron was gone, convinced that he was a threat that needed to be put down above all else. During the beginning of the third age, Agarwaen, kept close watch to any signals of him returning, honing his skills waiting for when they were needed again. When the witch king appeared and the nazgul began to reappear, Agarwaen was one of the first to try to go against him, taking his rise and the reappearance of the nazgul as signs from Sauron's influence. I didn't knew if I could just "insert" my character in battles and things that happened in the book, so I kinda scrapped those things... if you want I can revert it to its original state. About the bow, the idea was just to it to fire oversized arrows :lol Reinforced longbow will work just fine. The idea behind it was that he needed to literally anchor the bow on the ground before firing it. My character is an archer. think about a middle ages sniper :lol The idea behind the gaundlet isn't "cutting one's head clean of his body" or other bullshit. The fancy materials were just to protect his hand from the bow's strings. in close quarters, the claws can be used to inflict a decent damage. Mainly using it to cut tendons, veins and things like that. It doesn't cut like a sword, but it can inflict moderate cuts and some decent stabs. Its purpose is to be used as a backup weapon, not a main weapon. using it instead of a sword or a knife, he has better agility, being able to parry other blades, grab them, cut enemies' hands & etc.
