[@Xiro Zean]If he survives any exposure, then he can learn that ability or technique that assaulted him to an undecided, subjective extent. I tried to put up to 10 times to make it less vague, but then the GM felt that that was extreme and wants me to use the "Rule of Cool" to decide when. I don't really like that because if I decide, "yeah I think he's been exposed long enough to learn it," the GM can easily disagree and prolong the exposure. It comes down to either way, it's either a GM decision or it's going to be my decision, which is frustrating to think about. Because no one else is policed. Originally, the regeneration was set to where his every cell would have to be destroyed in order for him to be killed so that he would have a better chance at surviving assaults he's exposed to. I think people like to think inside the box on assault to stabbings, amputation, etc. But there can easily be beam cannons, explosions, nuke-like fire breath attacks, etc. The only thing my character has got going for him right now is that he's a martial artist. Also, some of that description was from his old CS, so it may just be a contradiction since the nerfs were placed on it. But I doubt the "fiends" know martial arts or martial arts would even matter against monsters. But who knows...we have an undefined enemy here. Anything can happen and because of that, because the threat can be as small and large, I think there should have been some leeway on some things. Unless they're going to be fighting baby-level monsters because most of the godslayers can wipe the floor with those kinds of creatures without even lifting an actual finger.
