Standing at 5"6 inches, Maddie is quite a small woman, yet does not appear to be under fed, nor weak. She has pale skin that burns quite easily, large bright green eyes, and has long red hair that is curly, which can often be a hardship to deal with. She has a splattering of freckles over her cheeks and nose.

Maddie has te ability to manipulate fire, however this steals her body's temperature, meaning that this is limited to her own warmth. Use it too much, and she can go into hypovolaemic shock. Use it too little, however, and this can cause her to over heat.

Maddie is a sweet girl. She is kind, caring and loyal to her friends. She can find the strength to smile when others have long given up hope. She is strong, dedicted to her goals. However, she has an anger seething just below the surface, built up over the years of acceptance for her position in her family. She craves attention, and craves being noticed for things. She is however kind, and caring, but does seemed quite conflicted, quite sad and tired a lot of the time. 

[b]History[/b] 
Maddie was born into a middle class family. Once tested compatabile for the game, they were placed into Lower level conditions, due to her fathers killing of a teenage boy four months before she was born. Her older siblings seemed to resent her for the lower conditions of living, her older sister seemed especially dispondent towards her, yet Maddie aways considered this as her being 15 years younger then her. 

Her older brother became very protective of Maddie, eight years her senior, he seemed to think it was his duty to make sure she had someone looking over her, with their father no longer in their life. As such, she has a close relationship with her brother. 

Her mother seemed to struggle with depression, yet she raised Maddie and her older siblings as best she could, always making sure they had food and clothes despite their poorer living conditions. Yet when Maddie was 19, she killed herself, leaving Maddie in the hands of her older brother, their older sister no longer truly in the picture. 

She continued to grow, now under the dedicated care of her older brother, yet she seemed to become more sad, sincere, as if she truly understood just how much had been lost due to her compatability with the game.
