Very much WIP
NAME: Marcus Adarc HOMEWORLD: To reiterate: all of our characters are off-worlders. They grew up elsewhere and have been deliberately assigned to police a world that is not their home. This is done to reduce any chances of corruption and favoritism with the populace. Please describe your character's homeworld here and how that has influenced their personality and outlook on life. AGE: 46 GENDER: Male APPEARANCE: What does your character look like beneath their armor? A detailed written description is mandatory though this can be supplemented with reference images tucked away inside a hider. ROLE: Combat Medic UNIFORM: Marcus wears standard issue Arbites carapace armor with only minor modifications to easily carry more medical equipment such as more vials for his injector gun and bandages, along with a thick pad of triage cards on a chain. He has however painted medicae symbols on the shoulder pads of his armor to denote his rank as medic. Lastly he has a small pouch crudely, but securely, attached to his belt where he carries identification tags of deceased arbites, PDF, or citizens. One of his Bracers has been replaced with a medical injector gun loaded with various drugs. EXPERTISE: Marcus has specialized in medicine even beyond his role as a combat medic. While he does not have the skill of a surgeon or doctor he is familiar with many surgical techniques and has provided battlefield surgery with the chaos of combat happening around him. He is also creative when it comes to medicine and will provide non-standard treatment if the situation calls for it, such as cauterizing a wound with a grazing shot Las-gun or strategically overdosing a patient with opiates to reduce heart rate and control bleeding and reviving them with stimulants. Marcus also carries around a note book filled with little poetic stories of the wonders of the Imperium, they are all truly awful ramblings of a bad writer but he enjoys it. Tucked away with his note book is a copy of the imperial guard’s uplifting primer and a couple well worn decks of cards that he likes to play with others or alone. EQUIPMENT: Please list your character's gear here and please do so in the following format. Feel free to customize your gear with attachments and cosmetic personalizations, but remember that the base paint job of any piece of equipment and weaponry is black. We're a grim sort. - Primary weapon: Las-Rifle - Secondary weapon: Stub Gun - Melee weapon: Shock Baton (Stained with blood from being used as medical equipment) - Tertiary equipment: Distributed between a backpack and easy access satchel. Gauze Oxygen Bandages Medical Tape Scalpels Splint Stick Suture kit Water Stimpak Alcohol (for sterilization) Painkillers Pen Light Bonesaw IV kit Injector Gun (gauntlet) x2 bags of IV fluid Anti-biotic foam Tourniquet - Mementos: A Mordian Iron Guard cap The cap is the only possession that his mother had of his father after he was shipped off to some warzone, and apparently left the hat. BIOGRAPHY: This is where you provide me with a reasonably detailed account of your character's life. Important fact: All Arbites are recruited through the Schola Progenium, an Ecclesiarchy-run organization that takes in and trains orphaned children of high-ranking Imperial officials to provide the next generation of elite individuals. Now, I don't need to know exactly how they were trained or the details of every operation they've been a part of since joining the Arbites, but the following areas of your character's history are key. 1. Formative years of youth on their homeworld, 2. The nature of their parents and their death, 3. Their experience in the Schola Progenium and Arbites training program, 4. Their 'big case'. What has your character achieved that has drawn the attention of Judge Catulo and made him assign your character to Strike Team Omicron? Give me at least three solid paragraphs but feel free to be as thorough as you like. An additional thing to consider is if your character has a relationship or any children of their own in the Precinct-Fortress. I won't rule out the possibility -- they're still people and people breed. The lore doesn't explicitly forbid this so neither will I. PERSONALITY: Marcus is a no nonsense kind of Arbites, by nature of being raised on Mordian. However he still does enjoy any free time he has playing cards or otherwise relaxing. He takes his role as a medic very seriously believing that every imperial life is important to the emperor and will endeavor to save not only Abites and PDF troops but any citizens that can be reasonably saved. MISCELLANEOUS: Just in case I forgot anything.
