Well that's the thing, I'm trying to go for the hard-ass, that keeps his feelings/thoughts to himself. I.e. He storms out of the scene with khaz like a tough guy but is probably crying about what was said to him. He also feels alone/friendless and berated needlessly on all sides and is super defensive about everything now. It's also pretty depressing to admit your purpose is to die. This was supposed to be revealed IC but oh well.
