And yea, Honestly I really hate using such Iconic characters but there was very little in a reference image fitting what I wanted. At the end of the day, I got over it, just because he's a popular character for those who've played shouldn't sway me too much. I figured a reference was more ideal to myself, personally, than no reference. I like imagery. It was pretty close to what I wanted in the first place, though I was malleable on the specifics going in. I was looking for a kind of darker looking individual that was a close up, speedy sort of combatant. Mercer just fits that profile best.
