Griffin ignored Kalinda's compliment. She thought he was better then he was. She always had. Now was not the time to argue. He followed her to where she had last seen Kyle. He doubted thst he was the only student that could track the scent trail. But he would do what he could to help his friend. 

When they reached the spot he took his time sorting the scents. The school was full of scents so he had to find the ones he swas liking gir. Finding the woman's scent was nearly impossible since he had no idea which of the new scents were hers and which were simply new arrivals. So he focused on Kyle's scent.
