Elliott couldn’t catch her breath and the air around her was freezing, it made no sense because the sensations felt real yet connected to the now and her vision as well. The external sensations must be happening in the present and strong enough so that she could feel it in retro so El tried to return to the present and felt trapped where she was. She knew something was horribly wrong as none of what was happening seemed false but had a strange quality as if they were.

There was a powerful sound of rushing wind as Elliott could at last see any color but gray and saw Light bound like some action movie scene hero in one the final acts that takes place in the villain’s lair.

El was thrown forcibly from her vision the last thing she saw large painted numbers and letters just before she slammed back into the reality of now and gasped for breath standing in the location she’d last she Light in. Fog caused by evaporating ice crystals that coated her body made her appear to be smoking like she’d been on fire moments ago.
