The fact he just admitted to murdering Kalo so casually made Lystra shiver slightly. Whoever he was, he was incredibly confident and probably had the skill to back that confidence up. She ignored Emilia for now, content with standing between her and whoever this was. She may not be strong, but she'd do what she could. "This hunk of metal?" Lystra replied to the mans question, hefting the shield between her and the man. "Found it in the lake just now. Emilia almost got me drowned getting to it." She joked, giving the man only half the story. It was the truth though, and that was the story she was going to stick to if pressed. No need to give whoever this was any more information than that. If she could wait until Kalen got close enough to do something, maybe they'd have a chance to get away and warn Fuso, but at the moment the only thing standing between the both of them and perhaps a bloody death was whatever this odd metal shield was.
