Katherin wasn't even sure she could have frozen Hachi even if she had wanted to. But she had been more then willing to try. Yes she knew it probably would have pissed him off but they didn't have time for someone who couldn't pull themselves together. She probably would have reacted the same way if her father had been one of the ones taken. She hoped, if that had been the case, that someonewould have been there to help her get herself together.
