Name: Lybet Age: 28 Race: Banek Class: One handed weapon and Magic, Healing and Earth

Affiliation: Against the King
Appearance: Lybet is larger than average Banek woman, standing at 6ft. with a slightly more muscular build. She almost always looks like she could use a few nights worth of sleep, and her pale complexion doesn't help. Her hair is impossibly long, though she wears it tied in a low bun; she hates the feeling of her hair on her neck. She usually is sporting light armor and, if traveling, a coat her mother made for her as a parting gift. Profession: Owns a small shop in Burril dedicated to healing and medicine. Personality: Since she was a little girl, Lybet has always been very ambitious and sure of herself. Despite her quiet demeanor, she is not afraid to take what she wants, and she especially isn't afraid to correct those who treat her poorly. Like many Banek, Lybet sees the world in black and white, and often finds herself frustrated when she cannot understand a situation. Some might consider her self-centered and emotionally detached (at times, she's considered it herself,) but Lybet is still just learning to adapt to life in Burril. History: Lybet was born into a well-off family of clothiers and seamstresses, the best in all of western Torit. She was mute for the first six years of her life, which unsettled the nobility that strolled into her parents shop. Because of this, she was taught to stay out of the way and out of trouble. While the rest of her family spent their time tending to the shop, Lybet spent her time alone. She stayed sane by reading books. She would read anything she could find around her house and learned so many fantastic things; how to bake Ewarian frosted loaves, what love feels like, the history of Oskal gator-wrestling, what it means to be a brave hero. Her favorite thing to read about was medicine and healing properties. The idea of mending living flesh was so compelling to her. She practiced by healing injured animals around town, and for the first time, she intrigued the nobles, rather than ran them off. Until the nations separated, Lybet wasn't aware of the issues between the races of Aldrak. She had gotten to 16 before she realized how broken her world was, and this upset her. By then, she was quite proficient at healing, and made a name for herself within her town. She heard the anger in her patient's voices as they discussed the other races. "I hope it's not too late to put a leash on those animals," one said. Lybet left Torit as soon as she had enough money saved, not in anger, but frustration. She did not understand what made her species superior, or what gave them the right to enslave others. For the next few years, she explored the new nations to learn more about the races that live within them. At first, it was devastating, watching as each culture desperately tried to build themselves back up without the Baneks. Poverty and starvation ate away at so many of the people she met along her journey. Though she was often attacked, she could never put blame on anyone for it; she did, however, learn to handle a sword for her protection. It only took her a few months to decide that the Banek were wrong; the other races were just people, in every way as equal as them, just simply different. They experienced pain, fear, and heartache, and right now, they were suffering because of her people. When she finally stumbled upon Burril, a city that sold itself as the one true place the races could live in harmony, she knew she had found where she was supposed to be. The town would be revolutionary, and she knew this is where she would make her mark. She would work to become the best healer in Aldrak, and would work in favor of the king's opposition.
