It took a while but Gaomon had finally reached sector 14, now he just had to find Mammothmon and turn the human in. Fortunately that part seemed to be easier than he expected as he could see trees being uplifted, by what he assumed had to be the Digital Army commander. Not caring about the fact that he exposed the human to extreme cold by dragging him through the snow he set off towards his goal.

He had never actually met Mammothmon before, nor was he a member of the army because as Wanyamon he was too weak to join, but Gaomon had no intention of letting humans decide the fate of his world. Though he did wonder why they were considered so important if they all were as weak as the one with him.

Wessel had regained conscious due to sudden cold of the snow but as uncomfortable as being dragged around was, he decided to endure and wait for the right moment to escape. After all he had no idea what his captor was capable off. All he knew about the weird dog was that it could talk, hated humans, transformed in to it's current state. and was surprisingly strong for it's size. But at least two of those also applied to that bagworm earlier so maybe everything on this planet was the same.

He evntually spotted another human runnging through a snow covered forest accompanied by some weird fox in the disance heading the opposite direction. The fox didn't seem to have any intention of harming the human so it probably didn't know what he was. He wanted to shout for help but he had no idea if they were interested in helping or even if they could. Also he would reveal he was awake to the dog and it might inform inform the fox about the species of it's travel partner, so he decided to give his fellow human a better chance and stayed quiet.
