T’charrl was willing to be patient with the man, he wanted to know all that he had learned about his powers and wanted to know just exactly how they worked. He was definitely confused and lacked any true understanding of them, but at most he wanted to know if they were completely natural or something that was brought on when he was young without his parents knowing. Lowering himself a little, he kept his eyes on the General, not pleased that he had started off with a laugh in regards to his powers. Narrowing his gaze a little, he found it odd to hear of this background in regards to their people, something that was almost completely hidden it seemed with the exception that the General managed to find out about it. It was strange hearing about it, knowing that there was many people out there who once had the same abilities he did. It was a little concerning; he didn’t know if his people were warmongers with this power or they all respected it like he respected his own. Frowning a little, he looked down to his hands, feeling a little concerned that there was once a bunch of monsters running around too as they misused their powers. T’charrl looked back to the General as he continued on, staring down at him at the mention of a massacre. It made him worry, knowing that this was probably still held in the minds of those alive today as the ancestors who lived after that would had made it the taboo it was today. He worried that they would want to kill him off if they knew he could do this, but maybe out of that as the General continued on it definitely sounded as if the powers were somehow coming back after so many generations. There must had been others his age who possibly had the same powers as he, but hopefully would never go to the extreme his powers had. Feeling a little insecure after all that, he gave the general a good glaring at when he decided to get all high and mighty in his position right up until Takeshi slapped him one. Looking to Takeshi quickly before he let out a sigh, he let Takeshi speak and slowly moved back, watching Yusef get picked up by his father and Katas so he could be lead back to the city. He was a little disappointed; while he had gotten the answers about his powers’ origins, he was still confused over other matters no matter how much he tried to feel secure about it. Frowning a little as Yusef was led away, he rubbed his arms together and looked to the ground, feeling somewhat unhappy again. There must had been more out there concerning his powers and where they had taken him, but it didn’t appear as if the General would know either concerning how dead set he was upon wanting such power, “My answer’s only been half-received. I still have concerns”, he frowned, rubbing his claws together, “Why did they do this to me, for example? Why did they alter me? Am I in danger of being further altered the stronger they become? It’s still so cloudy…” Kai was a little suspicious about his brother and his growing interest in talking to Yumi, raising an eyebrow at the sight of his expression. He seemed pretty happy, as if he had never spoken to a girl before and it was definitely slightly concerning if it was this much of a distraction to him. Sighing a little, he gave a quick look to Shu before cleaning up around him, making sure not to bump his head and cause further discomfort, “No problem. Choi?” “I’ll dry! I’ll dry”, Choi announced, moving over to the sink happily and grabbed a towel, “Gotta wonder who would use this place next, huh? I mean, heh, who was here first? Who are we cleaning for? We could easily burn down the house if we wanted!” Letting out a nervous laugh before diverting his attention back to the plates, he let out a sigh, rolling his shoulders a little, “Then again with that big tree and probably some people becoming affected by it, I guess a few open homes is needed. Wonder if our father would stay here until we can get a permanent residence for him, then again, we should probably get some scouters for them first so they can understand these aliens too, you know? T’charrl doesn’t speak the common language, considering we’ve been using the scouters all this time”.
