Leisy Takigawa
Feyhollow Town Outskirts The sound of claws scraping against rock caused Leisy to whirl around, eyes wide as she directed the flashlight’s beam towards the sound. Bidein’s tiny talons dug into her shoulder a bit as he tensed up, readying himself for whatever had produced the sound. Taking a step towards the hallway into which the sound disappeared, Leisy squinted into the darkness and tried to make out shapes, but to no avail. Perhaps the light scares Pokemon off? Leisy considered, looking at the flashlight in her hands. With her spare hand, the girl covered the beam partially to dilute the light, making her hand glow like a funny red-orange striped lantern. Leisy continued down the path, head ducked and crouched down. Soon enough, she found herself in a small cavern inside the cave. The hollow clearing was silent, and every step and shuffle Leisy took reverberated off the stone walls, although the sound was mostly absorbed by the moss. ”Hello?” Leisy asked at last, unable to fathom anything else to say. It was a cliche line and almost horror movie-esque, but still she decided that any Pokemon she would meet down here would probably already know of her intrusion. ”Anyone there?” Another round of scuffling caused Leisy to turn around to see… Well, she wasn’t sure as to how to describe the dusty green lizard that looked at her with fiercely defiant eyes. Black slashes striped down its eyes and dark orange-red scales covered its midsection. Rather than to the sharp fin on its head or the raven triangles along its body, Leisy’s eyes were drawn towards the Pokemon’s eyes. “Larrrr,” the Pokemon growled menacingly.

Shanae Eller
Central City Shanae exited the Pokemart quietly, hand clutching the evolution shard she’d just splurged her trainer points on. Her thoughts swirled as she thought about what she was going to do next. Evolving Ebon would have been preferable, but other than the rank limiter, she knew better. Her benefactor that had helped her out so many years ago had taught her that power wasn’t the deciding factor of Pokemon battles, and thus Shanae knew better than to evolve her strongest Pokemon first. “Amatorius!” Shanae said, releasing her Igglybuff from his Pokeball. A distressed look on his face, the adorably fluffy pink Pokemon leapt for his trainer, clinging to her leg as he looked at the Houndour beside him with terror. Ebon sniffed, turning his snout at the cowardly display. Shanae’s eyes searched her Houndour’s face for some indication of protest or displeasure, but his impassive frown and sharp eyes told nothing of his annoyance if he was annoyed at all. With a small sniff, Ebon nodded towards the pink ball of fur beside him—stiff Houndour for “Get on with it.” Stiff and loyal as always, Shanae thought to herself, a small smile on her face as she knelt down to pick up the Igglybuff attached to her leg. ”Here here, Tori,” she said, raising the evolution shard to her Igglybuff’s stubby arms. ”So, how about it? Ready to evolve?”
