Despite his earlier objections to the idea Wessel decided that getting taken to whatever was uprooting those trees wasn't a good idea. Hoping to catch his captor unaware he picked up a heavy branch lying on the floor and quickly got up.  

Goamon of course noticed the extra weight of the branch, not to mention that the human  had gotten up. [color=00a651]"When did yo...[/color] 

He hit the dog on the head mid sentence, but it wasn't enough to knock the alien out. Still it did seem to leave it dazed so Wessel ran as fast as he could, away from the tree uprooter, in the direction he saw the other human.

While he was wondering if he should follow the human or continue heading to Mammothmon, Gaomon's prey put some decent distance between them, not that the Beast Digimon couldn't easily catch up though. Still he decided that informing the commander was more important, and besides he had evidence of his encounter in the form of that strange device the human dropped.

Unaware that he wasn't being followed Wessel ran as hard as he could, only stopping when he was completely out of breath. By that point he noticed the forest had made room for a bunch of frozen lakes and that the human he saw earlier was quite a ways in front of him, but at least he was in sight again. After catching his breath Wessel began jumping up and down and waving his arms around to draw the boy's attention. [color=39b54a*"Hey, you over there!!"*[/color]

It didn't take for Gaomon to come across Mammothmon. [color=00a651] "Mammothmon, sir. I came across a human and I have proof."[/color] He showed the Ultimate Digimon the device which still displayed his face and stats on screen.
