Age:  36 when he became immortal (has the body of a 36 year old man), 70 now.

Orientation:  straight, being gay is punishable by castration.

Personality:  gruff, strong willed, very patriotic, his voice sounds as if he had eaten rocks, he does not take kindly to jokes, insults and threats directed at him, he doesn't like non humans.

Short History:  he was born into a poor family but after gaining the trust of the second emperor, Jeonhad, he became his protector and soon vassal.  he made many names for himself including the iron boar, a boar of colossal size, which once destroyed half of the capital city of Alard.  With only a shield (behind his head) he brought down the beast... but at the cost of his mortality, this was a curse rather than a blessing, his true age grew on the shield, the Amelin in human tongue, it would weaken and rust each year but never shatter.
In 131 post united (current year is P.U. 149) Iltar lead an army against the heretical empress Orhen, but he being her adoptive uncle made him pity her, he exiled her to the orcish lands of Ocrad.  When the people heard this they rejoiced and elected him rightful emperor of western Terra.

Other:  is immortal, can only be killed if shield is destroyed, he cannot destroy the shield himself.
