Even with your allies helping you wouldn't be able to bring me to submission and discard the blade that could level the scales in favor of a common footman's spear?" Tegonay brandished his sword with fury, tanking Jesse's blows head on without a hint of fear or hesitation. The wall of flames of Chen's threat did little to slow the armored hulk as he grabbed the tip of Jesse's spear and pulled him closer for a pommel hit aimed at Jesse's shoulder blade. A hit from this close and the Lancer would be out. "It's your end, Knight. Give in and join us, the True Imperials, or die like a dog!" To turn things worse, the group's oversight would pay back in an unexpected way when the Elf's corpse rose from the ground, shambling and grabbed his spear again, ready to face Chen and Fei. Now that he was from the clutches of death, passing through the fiery barrier was no problem, even if his flesh was set ablaze as he charged at Fei, aiming to skewer her stomach. The flames however, had a good side to them as they unveiled the coils of magical thread around the Elf's body, teetering him like a puppet. Their source was the top of a spire across the square where the fight was taking place. No doubt their owner could be only one being, a certain puppeteer that even no must be grinning in dark amusement as marionette and performers danced in the mad revelry of combat, all to her tune. Or so it seemed to be. "Guh..." Came Si's voice as she descended the slope leading to the battlefield at a steady pace. The bell at her tail echoed a sweet tune as she waved it to and fro, drawing the eyes of the Elven Prince's corpse who seemed to be stuck in place, transfixed by Si's gaze, halting the strike he was about to perform as well as letting Fei go. "It's easy to fight when you have nothing to lose... guh. You have done too much on this world already... it's about time to leave." As the fairy sorceress said so, motes of pale light began to stream from the elf's body, undoing him. In but a flash the once proud warlord was turned to nothing but wisps of fading memories. Condemned to be forgotten over the ages, like all of this Shattered World's past. The past which Si was part of. The snapping sound of Emilia's strings breaking heralded the departure of the Dollmaker. Never one stay when there was nothing more to be gained or entertainment to be had, obviously Emilia would bail out once the fight turned undoubtedly to the side of Fei's party. The loss of Emilia's aid immediately caught the attention of Tegonay who noticed Si and immediately forgot about Jesse, shoving the Lancer away. "What have you done, Witch? I knew that I should have killed all of your people long ago. Letting even one escape was a mistake. But, it's not one I'll commit again!" With a howl of rage Tegonay abandoned Jesse, vaulting over the flames and delivering an overhead strike at the cat girl magician, with the intent to off Si once and for all. It was about time the last of the feykind expired. Much to the Black Night's dismay, Si parried the blow effortlessly with her staff, redirecting the force to throw the Knight back at Jesse with enough force to dissipate Fei's wall of fire and leave an indent against a massive tree that stopped him. "You two go help your friend. There's a time for one's pride... but it's not now... guh. If we don't go back soon.. something bad could happen... guh." Si tapped her staff against the ground, summoning ethereal looking hippogryffs that would carry them back to Infinitum, faster than any other beast or ship, as soon as the battle with Tegonay was over. In another section of the tunnels, not very far away from there, Eleonor was bent down, coughing the vicious goo that had entered her. The Crimson knight attempted to cover whatever else was left of her modesty with her hands, now that her armor had been dissolved. The sweet, known voice calling for her roused Eleonor back to the present, instead of trying to conjecture ways to reunite with her allies, or escape this maze. "Antonia!? What are you doing... by the Divine! What happened to you?" Eleonor's initial shock was so great at seeing Antonia at her defiled state that the Knight failed to avoid the slime woman's advances, founding herself an easy prey up for grabs. "What are you doing? Get away from me, Antonia, you are not in your right mind! How can you say that you accepted these abominations willingly and still claim to serve the Imperium?" Eleonor tried to put as much resistance as she could, as expected, it wasn't much worth in pushing the empowered Antonia when Eleonor was effectively deprived of her own means to fight back.
