Thainar Vladimir Elise

Collab between myself and [@Kyrisse]
Thainar had been observing the group as they journeyed other than basic introductions not interacting much with anyone. The newest two members were both people he recognized, a mage named Elise and a templar named Vladimir. He had been the one to make the base for Elise's enchanted ring as well as Vladimir's weapons. They were only able to get weapons made specifically for them because of their special position in the citadel. He had not interacted with Elise much but he would interact with Vladimir relatively regularily, either modifying his weapons or repairing his equipment. Seeing them walk away from the group he approuched them. "They sent you two as well? They must really value this missions success." He said to Vladimir as he got closer. Vladimir looked up when Thainar approached. He immediately recognized him from their constant interaction back in the Citadel. He stood up and approached the half elf and clasped his hand in a friendly manner. "Thainar. I heard you were part of this group. It looks like you're doing well," he greeted. At the mention of the mission's success, he gave Elise a quick glance. She seemed to be preoccupied with studying some of the other members of the group. "With Elise around, this mission will be a lot more easier. But since we are headed towards the unknown dangers of the Wasteland, I'm afraid we'll have a run for our money even if we are here." He nodded towards the caravan. "I am sure we have a lot more capable companions in this group, you included, of course." " That is for certain not only do we have two of the most skilled fighters in the Citadel, we have the Shadow, as well as the largest gathering of magi out of the Citadel since before it was built. While the Wasteland is dangerous I am not worried about our safety I am most worried about the thief and the amulet pieces." He sat on a nearby stump as he spoke. "It will not be too difficult to pick up this thief's trail if he is a magic wielder," Elise said in her detached tone of voice. Vladimir nodded. "That is true," he agreed. "This mission is almost the same as the ones we have been sent to. Track down magi, retrieve an artifact or incapacitate rebels. Of course, none of them has ever stolen something as important as this amulet seems to be. And none of them we needed to chase through the Wasteland..." he stopped when he realized that he had not introduced the mage to his friend. Elise would definitely not introduce herself. "Where are my manners? Thainar, this is Elise Shadewater, a mage..." he chuckled. "I'm sure you already know that and you've seen her several times in the Citadel." He turned to Elise. "Elise, this is Thainar Teasen'rretyn. He is the one who made the base of that ring you are wearing." "Oh?" Elise looked towards Thainar. "Thank you. It has served me well to serve the Empire." Smiling at Elise's shortwindedness Thainar said "It was nothing all I did was make the ring using materials compatible with the enchantments placed on it. I am glad it has been of use." Turning to Vladimir, "How are your weapons been holding up, I believe it is around the time you usually come to me to have them reinforced." Elise nodded and fell back to silence. Whatever she was thinking did not show on her face. Vladimir, on the other, hand pulled one of his swords out of the scabbard that hung on his waist. He placed the blade on the palm of his hand. "Yes, I had originally planned on visiting you before we were summoned and sent on this mission. Would you mind having a go at them on your most opportune time?" Taking the sword from Vladimir he began inspecting it as he said, "Of course I can in fact I could do it now it would take me but a moment to set up my forge." Noticing that the blade had some almost unnoticible cracks he said "These need immediate attention the blade is starting to get micro-cracks while it doesn't mean the blade will break it does reduce their ability to cut by absorbing impact force." Thainar began unpacking his forge moving away from the tree as he set it up. "You can watch if you'd like but it is quite boring to do so." he said to Vladimir. Vladimir nodded. "I'm afraid it's twin is in a worse condition," he pulled out his other sword and showcased the blade to Thainar. A long crack marked its entire length. "You have no idea how glad I am that you are here, Thainar. I'll watch while you work," he said and again made a quick glance towards Elise. But the mage obviously did not want to watch weapons being reinforced. Even before Vladimir could glance towards her, she had already stood up from where she was sitting and wandered off.
