Rouge was the best friend of Prince Belial before her death. She was born into an upper class family, but she enjoyed wandering into town and helping out the poor. She didn't like to see people suffer and after getting to know many commoners, became disgusted with how they were treated. Since she was still a child, the most she could do was give some of her allowance to people but she dreamed of someday becoming a member of the wizard council so she could help everyone. 

Her mother was a friend of the queen and Rouge sometimes tagged along during visits. On one of those visits she met Belial while he was on his way to play in the forest and they became fast friends, despite their conflicting personalities. Rouge was sweet and respectful, but she was not afraid to speak her mind and she disapproved of Belial's rudeness and selfishness. She often acted as his conscience and would argue with him whenever he was being mean without a good reason, trying to drill it into his head that a prince was supposed to take care of his subjects and Rouge used to drag him to town to get him to know the commoners in an effort to fix his attitude. She was bossy, which drove her best friend crazy, but they always enjoyed each other's company and often played games or practiced magic together.

Her life was cut short when her family was attacked in the middle of the night and the assailant murdered her and her parents. Belial did not take her death well at all, and claims he sees Rouge's ghost and that she hurts him whenever he does something bad, like how she used to scold him while she was alive.
