I got dragged back in to the main titles with Platinum after abandoning ship when I saw Ruby/Sapphire coming out.
Little kid Mode actually started to [i]cry[/i] when she realized that there would be another hundred twenty plus Pokemon with the Third Gen.  I still played the side-series but catching every single damned Pokemon got too much!
