Standing 2 meters tall with his wide shoulders he is an imposing opponent on the battlefield. His skin is full of small scars the biggest one around his gut like someone had ran him through at one point in his life. Though he also has a tattoo on his chest showing the coat of arms of house Whitedragon. Which is a white dragon dowsing a black knight in flames. Sigvald's face looks weary and the wrinkles under his eyes support this. His raven black hair is starting to become gray though it isn't exactly noticeable yet. His blue eyes, however, are still sharp and focused. His face has a single scar running down his left cheek. There is also a small unsmooth beard that he has grown over the years which he barely takes care of it. Only cutting it when it starts to cover his mouth. He wears the sort of clothes that a nobleman would wear. Things of once fine cut are now worn and old. Considering the fact that he barely has a penny on him, he has to patch it up on his own. But his clothes are still clean, even as they fray and more and more of the fabric give up . Because of this, he prefers to wear his armor more than anything else as it is still in the same pristine condition. Race: Human Diety: He believes in no god. Since they did not aid him in reclaiming his birthright. Why would he worship them? Personality: Sigvald has always been an arrogant bastard and even though he has been shat on for most of his life. He enjoys drinking and whoring like any other good nobleman. Only he does it to keep the pain away if anything. He may act brash arrogant expect against his superiour officers. SInce they might be the only way to get his home back. He will throw himself into battle if it means winning favor. But in the end how though and might he may act. He is just a broken man trying to desperatly pick up the pieces. Rabble Rouser: Raised to riches and spoiled, Sigvald has a hard time saying no to worldly desires and is often known to start stuff. On the other hand, he is an inspiring presence for the more common folks with his brash attitude and to the point words. Drinking like a fish: Sigvald has a drinking problem. Because of this he drinks way too much and over the years had become somewhat resilient to it. Meaning that of any drinking competitions occur he will drink most people under the table. Backstory: Some men are born at the lowest ladder and have to climb their way to the top. Then there are those that are born at the end of the ladder. Those who enjoy life and have the riches to do anything they want. This was the life Sigvald was born into as the second of six to Lord Alexander Whitedragon. House Whitedragon had been one of the stronger houses in the kingdom of melfic. The reason of its strength lay in the fact that it had secured a vital trade route meaning it could tax heavily on the route itself. To make matters worse House Whitedragon was rather aggressive against it neighboring houses. Stealing small parts of their territory gained them ill favor from other nobles. However, due to the fact that House Whitedragon had a reasonable strong army and a good economic backbone, it was hard to take them down. Many houses tried regardless. Even through all this aggressive expansion, the house remained loyal to the royal family ensuring there backing in times of need. Indeed Sigavld was a lucky child indeed to be born in such a strong house. His father was harsh but kind and his mother was the sweetest women he would ever know. His childhood is full of fond memories. He learned fighting when he could walk sparring much with his older brother Edward. He remembered going hawking with his father once as he told him stories of old. Little Sigvald was contented with his life. Then he reached the age of and the shining coffin opened. And all that happiness disappeared like a candle in the wind. The undead horde destroyed whatever lay in their path, layng waste to Northern Melfic. It was then that house Whitedragon acted. Sigvald was too young to join the battle since he was only eleven at the time. Edward, however, was sixteen which was old enough in his father's opinion. And so they left the castle with six thousand and five hundred men at their back ready to lay waste to those abominations and to lay their souls to rest once more. And they did. If only through sheer luck. The army had drawn the undead horde in a small valley called dragon pass. The idea of Alexander was to use his cavalry of six hundred strong to break through the lines and scatter the undead horde. The plan worked party as it did make a hole in the undead lines. The undead host, however, proved far too great than Alexander would have expected and if it wasn't for his son rescuing him He would have perished. Of the six hundred men that had charged in. Only ten made it out alive. After a day of fighting the army was able to push the horde away from their lands. And while they were not able to destroy the undead horde they did save themselves from inevitable destruction. For six years they held the line against undead incursions. Slowly but surely starting to fight defensively. Sigvald being old enough to join at the time he attempted to fight alongside his brother and father but was told to stay home instead. Sigvald never found at why they did such a thing. But a year later when the undead host had been held back did they finally arrive home. But what SIgvald would find wasn't his kind brother Edward and his loving father. Instead, he saw his mentally unstable brother and his traumatized father. His father became an unstable ruler killing people on the slightest of mistakes. He also turned to whoring and heavy drinking. Edward, on the other hand, became even worse as it was rumored that he raped girls and tortured anyone who annoyed him in the slightest. Sigvald was so horrified by this decided to avoid them by ironicly: drinking and whoring. But he did it to forget. However, Sigvald slept with the wrong whore which infuriated Edward. Instead of torturing him, however, he instead declared a duel against his brother. If it wasn't for his mother it would have been a battle to the dead. She was able to make it a battle till first blood. Edward would be using his long sword. While Sigvald used his axe instead. The battle lasted for about an hour. Of constant smashing of steel against steel, brother against brother. The house of Whitedragon had fallen low indeed. Edward had more experience than Sigvald that much was certain. But Sigvald had the advantage of being faster. Then Sigvald made his mistake when he swung his axe to hard hitting his brother. While this was the intended idea the error lay in the fact that the axe cut too deeply crushing the armor, breaking the ribs and destroying Edwards internal organs. Edward died in Sigvald's hand drowning in his own blood and hatred. His father would have lobbed the crying Sigvald's head right off if nof for his mother having jumped in the way. Instead of him being executed he would be banished from his home. The only possession he was allowed to take with him would be his personal horse and the axe with which he played his brother. And just to spite him his father would have engraved the name Kinslayer onto it. His mother, however, was able to give him a small satchel full of her own jewelry. And so He left his home. Never to see it again. Or so he thought. After the first war ended the house of Whitedragon would become the first line of defense against the enemy. But when the war of perseverance started they rode out alone against the enemy. Why they did this is still disputed by historians to this day. Some say Alexander did this to give the border some time to prepare. Others say he did it to prove his might against the undead. And others think he did this just to join his son in the grave. He foolishly used the same tactic with the cavalry in the hope that it would have the same effect. However this time the undead were better prepared and acted like an army instead of a massive horde. And when Alexander charged with his cavalry he met his end upon rows and rows of spears. With their leader dead the army scattered before the wind and the castle that held the rest of the family was taken within a single night. It is said that the screams of the living were heard for miles. In the meantime, Sigvald had bought himself a small mansion and had enjoyed his life screwing whores and drinking huge amounts of alcohol. However, once he heard what happened to his home he declared an oath right then and there that he would reclaim his birthright. With this said and done he sold his mansion, used the rest of his money to buy hire as many mercenaries as he could afford. Then he marched towards his former home. He didn't even make it to the gates before his army was destroyed and he barely managed to escape with his life. After that, with his money squandered and his mansion sold he had nothing but the armor he wore and the horse who had stood by him since he was banished. Once again he had nothing to his name. Expect this time there wasn't a mother with a huge sack of jewelry. Sigvald started doing odd jobs after this taking part in tourneys and mercenary bands. he even tried to take up on smithing. His life had become a mockery of what he once was. Then the third war began. And he decided that this was his time to take revenge. To make sure that the banner of House Whitedragon was raised above his home once again! No matter the cost. Weapons and Armor: Kin slayer: A large two handed axe used to cleave through undead foes. Made by a dwarven blacksmith this axe has the ability to receive enchantments to make it even deadlier. However, due to Sigvald's money issues, he does not have to capital to afford such a thing. Shortsword: a regular sword for tight spaces. Armour: Sigvald wears heavy plated armor which has the coat of arms of his house burned on upon. The armor is heavy but provides excellent defense. Misc Gear and Possessions: Horse: His horse biscuit is a strong warhorse which has served Sigvald loyalty during his life. However, instead of being used for war the horse has mostly been used for carrying Sigvald's equipment. Which is something that annoys Biscuit. smithing gear: A few hammers some wetting stones and some pliers to keep his weapons and armor in great condition. Sewing gear: Used to keep his clothes functional. Hawk: His loyal hawk Franz. Which has been trained so well that it will follow him blindly and never leave his side. Though this can get annoying in certain situations. Theme music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VU7qTVkjMWU
