I'm not talking about the precision of the smithing tasks, but about making them in a credible way. Speed forging is the thing that has been annoying me, not the level of description. You can't make as much progress as the people over the pork scene are making in less than six hours.

Do things simple, but do them right, that's the gist of the issue.

It would be a whole other story, if someone had speed crafting as their specialty, but no one has it, so it doesn't makes sense.
