Others may not agree with that, but the past makes us who we are today, regardless of the circumstances. "My mother was killed when I was about 8 years old. She was gunned down for her money and cell phone. That's why I wanted to be a lawyer, so I can prosecute criminals. My father tried his best to raise me and my brother, but the stress got to him and he drove his car off the road and ended up in a coma. We lived with my grandparents in Chicago, but he never improved. The doctors said his chances lowered every year until I agreed to take him off. But at least he doesn't have to deal with all of this." She thought of her brother and wondered where he was. Last she checked on him, he was a sports star in school. She was sure he was safe. Maybe one day, they would reunite after all of this.
