Ok, so this is a largly complete WIP should you need ideas on how much I would like too see. This has slightly more detail than I would expect (what with Aemillius being the man you're serving under,) however the general gist is the same.
Name: Aemillius Praeatoria Homeworld: Ophelia VII is possibly one of the most sacred worlds the Imperium has outside of Holy Terra itself, a world where the Emperor himself once fought his chaotic children, and the home of the Holy Synod. Its actual population of people living year-round is small, mostly consisting of the Sorotias chapters there and a number of caretakers, but a steady stream of pilgrims to the world ensure that it is always bustling. Age: 387 Gender: Male Height and weight: 7’5”, 243kg Alignment: The Inquisition Speciality: Lord-Inquisitor Appearance: Underneath the layers of robes and armour that normally clad the Inquisitor is an imposing and powerful figure. Having had specialised implants to increase his height, and spent years building his physique, Aemillius stands at a towering 7'5", allowing him to resemble an Astartes outside of their armour, and with a weight of 243kg to match, it is not hard to see why many citizens who meet Aemillius think that he is one of the vaunted soldiers. Having undergone countless jeuvenant treatments across his life, and having recently had one before the events on Macradius occurred have left Aemillius looking closer to forty than he does four hundred, with fair skin and jet black hair only marred by the occasional streak of grey running through it. Said hair is kept short, only reaching down to graze the tips of his ears, and is matched by the dark shadow of heavy stubble spread across most of his chin. Below his face lies a scarred yet muscular body, the unremovable markings of battles fought criss-crossing his chest, back and legs, including a particularly nasty gash that runs down along the side of his leg, earned from an encounter when he was an Interrogator, although this has long since stopped bothering him, much like all the other wounds. Fresher, however, is his right arm, where everything above the elbow was mangled during an encounter on Macradius and since replaced by a complicated web of artificial muscle and plasteel that provides much the same functionality as it did when it was flesh. Whilst it has taken some getting used to, Aemillius can once again aim and fire properly with his hand, although there are times when he can unconsciously lapse into his old firing position, pulling off his shots. Uniform: Despite what some might call rather radical leanings, Aemillius doesn't shirk the traditional garb of a witchhunter. The clerical-style beaver hat that is common among his fellows almost never leaves his head, although the dark leather cloak has been replaced with one that is almost crimson in colouring, left loose so that it flows behind him. Said cloak can be detached as needed to prevent it from getting tangled up or yanked upon in combat, and it is ringed at the top with a thick line of white faux-fur, in which is concealed a heating device similar to that found on Valhallans. What truly protects him, however, is the artificer armour he proudly wears into battle. Quite how he obtained it is unknown, (as is how he obtained much of his equipment,) however those who have seen it deflecting round after round away from the Inquisitor himself as he forges into combat can attest to its protection. The armour itself is painted almost pitch black with white and gold highlighting, although it proudly displays a marble coloured symbol of the Inquisition on the breast of it. A number of purity seals also cover the armour, and the amulet that generates his conversion shield can be magnetically 'clipped' near his head should he not be wearing the helmet. Armament: Like most of his order, Aemillius has a number of weapons to his name, although he rarely takes them all into battle. There are however, a number of pieces of equipment that he will almost always be seen with. Attached to a bracer across his chest is a ripper pistol, an inferno pistol and a bolt pistol, each of them with their own individual markings and purity seals attached to them. The inferno pistol is held at the top of the bracer, and on it is engraved the words ”For the witch”, on the ripper pistol, which is held in the middle of the bracer, is ”For the mutant” and on the bolt pistol is ”For the heretic”. All of this is inscribed in High Gothic, much like the writings on the purity seals that dot his armament. His smallest weapon is one that he has had for a long time; and that is a small ring he wears on his left index should he be out of his armour, or wrought into the same place should he be wearing it, in which is contained a Jokaero digi-weapon. When properly aimed, it fires a melta-blast equal to that of the multi-melta, capable of shredding even tanks if aimed properly. Furthermore, even when ‘disarmed,’ he is never truly without a weapon. His conversion-field generating amulet can be discharged, removing the protection it has on him and instead propelling it outwards in a sphere of destruction. Said sphere is without any grace or subtly, however it injures people very effectively. Upon discharging his amulet it requires a number of days to be fully restored. Perhaps, however, the most unusual of all the weapons he has is his sword, whilst it normally seems to be just that; a power sword, upon it being drawn for combat it awakens the bloodletter trapped inside it, causing the blade itself to be charged with rage. A dangerous weapon for even Aemillius himself to wield, it is even more lethal when pointed at his enemies. Personality/Demeanour: What kind of person is your character exactly? A paragraph is needed, although more is fine. Biography: It is unknown who Aemillius’ father is; although the likelihood is that he was a simple pilgrim passing through the area, and never knew that the women who would become Aemillius’ mother was pregnant at all. His mother was a figure for a very short amount of time in Aemillius’ life; by the age of six, the boy was on his own, and was quickly scooped up by a Sorotias cleric, who handed the young boy over to the Schola Progenium. Although earmarked to become a Commissar, a Lord-Inquisitor who feared he would be dying soon decided to take in a number of promising scholars in order to train them as his spiritual successors, including the young Aemillius. Whilst it was unknown why exactly he was picked above the others, it is known that he was one of the few members who survived the brutal first few years of trials. Eventually making it to be one of the two remaining Acolytes of his who became full Interrogators.
