Well in that scenario the person would end up being transgender. So let's say you chose to play Korinna, but her modern day reincarnation is in a mans body. Korinna is a girl through and through, so you can see the issue. Truthfully I'd rather keep it simple and say that the six have always reincarnated into the same gender and species as their original body.
