Hello, and welcome to Nev’s Interest Check of Merriment and Wonder (2.0)!
What’s poppin’? I’m Nevix, or Nev. As you more than likely didn’t notice, I’ve been absent for, what, like two months or so. Busy with a new job, mostly. Anyways, I wanted to hop right back into it, and decided to make an interest check. With actual plots this time! Anyways, quick list of rules/expectations/things of the sort.

When it comes to mature content, I’m down for whatever. Except incest, maybe. And furry/anthro stuff. So, not whatever, but, like, a lot of stuff. Really, it all depends on what you’re comfortable with. Just tell me what you’re after. I can do smut, or I can do fade-to-black, or whatever you want, really.
On that note...if you’re after smut, please be over 18. Enough said? Enough said.
While romance is not a necessity, it certainly makes things a great deal more interesting. All of the plots and pairings below are either romance-based or are designed with some level of romance intended. If you don’t want romance, let me know, and we’ll work something out, capiche?
On the topic of plots...we don’t need to use mine. These are all just ideas swimming around my head, but, for real, I just want to write. Spitball ideas if you want. Brainstorming is great.
One last thing...I range in post length a lot. I tend to hover around mid-to-high-casual, but I can do advanced if I need to. It is important for me that your posts are legible, and of decent length. Two paragraphs, on average.
Now, onto the fun bit.

As the formerly great God of Abraham and Moses begins to die, his closest subordinates makes plans to gain power once he finally perishes. Meanwhile, a broken and insane Lucifer is manipulated by his generals into preparing for a war, The Greatest War, to which all wars after will be compared. A war on Heaven. But, the human world is far from free of turmoil. The long-dead art of Magic is beginning to slowly return to the world. Angels, Demons, Nephilim, and Warlocks begin to come out of hiding in the human world. As the barriers between worlds break, the third belligerent makes itelf known. A rebel organization, hellbent (see what I did there?) on toppling both Heaven and Hell, and led by a fallen angel with a score to settle. (This isn’t a plot so much as it is a setting, but whatever. We can work out the finer details.)

The Galaxy is wide. In such an expansive universe, there’s bound to be lawbreakers. The Peacekeepers can only do so much, and so many criminals slip through the cracks. That’s where we come in. A group of bounty hunters aboard the starship Serpentis. This one is purposefully vague. We can go anywhere with this.

She was something of a rising star within the Inquisition, capturing dangerous criminals and delivering the Emperor’s Justice. She loved her job, and felt like she was making a difference. Now, things are different. The great Emperor Darrien has finally passed, and his eldest son Archduke Korren is killed by bandits before he can claim his throne. Now, his younger son, Emperor Osten is on the throne. The Inquisitor no longer chases dangerous criminals. Now, she roots out suspected rebel sympathizers and rogue mages, and tortures confessions out of them. She begins to get the creeping feeling that this isn’t righteous work, but she manages to swallow her concerns. He was a close friend of the now-infamous Duncan Uffrid before he became the leader of the Insurrection. He loyally followed his friend and quickly became the Insurrection’s second-in-command. During a routine operation, he’s captured by the Inquisition. He’s able to masquerade as a low-ranking healer, but he knows that he won’t be able to keep up the ruse for long, not with the rising star of the Inquisition assigned to interrogate him. For this one, I ask that you play the Inquisitor.

I think that’ll do. So, yeah. Shoot me a PM. -Nev
