[@NekoMizu] I understand the idea behind using the dice in your story, but I'm more thinking along the lines of how you write it. When you're writing a scene, do you let dice (like, literally) decide if a character obtains a drop or do you let the story determine it based on whether they need that drop to move the plot forward? I wasn't actually telling the GM in that thread that it was wrong for him to use dice; I mostly posted up the things I did in response to what I saw as a very bias argument. Even if I oppose a view I don't believe I go about debating it in a manner that's bias.
