The sounds of sirens gained Lan's attention as he surveyed the area. The police arrived first, quickly setting up tape and such to mark off the crime scene. Seconds later, a pair of ambulances pulled up. The paramedics quickly loaded the Rheese onto a stretcher and loaded him up in the first vehicle as the two men from the wrecked ambulance were helped into the second. When he was offered a ride back to Mesalon, he calmly refused as he would rather enjoy the walk. Turning towards the young trainers, he spoke up.

If any of you wish to challenge my gym, I would ask that you do so in the morning once you have all rested. Your friend over there is going to be taken to the Hospital in Mesalon, so if you would like a ride there feel free to accompany him on board the Ambulance."[/color] With that Lan offered the trainers a respectful bow and began walking back towards Mesalon.

All Rheese could think about was the very real possibility that he had been killed and that the pain in his ribs and extreme daze he was feeling were simply part of being dead. If it wasn't, he would certainly prefer death to it. The last thing he even remembered was Wooper leaping towards that maniac's Aerodactyl before everything just went black.

 He tried to open his eyes and maybe even move, but to no avail. Moments later he just slipped back into unconsciousness hoping that everyone was alright.
