Monty holds the appearance of a boy, standing at a whopping 5‘7“ and weighing 160lbs., his physical presence does not emanate intimidation. Monty was born in a town located in Priscus where he inherited his Prae traits from his mother and father. Tattoos adorn his soft tan skin that etch across his back in symbols that relate to his lineage. His eyes are not to be forgotten as his blue eye seems to have the ability of looking through your soul with a cold stare, while the reddish one burns with an intense fire behind it. Monty’s white hair dresses the top of his head at medium length while braided in a way that represents tradition from within the town he came from.

Monty is a noble creature that possess’ the drive, and awareness that serve him well with the responsibilities of his kind. He walks a straight line where white and black exist, with gray having no place. This was how he was raised, trained, disciplined, and educated, by not only his parents, but by the environment he grew in. Loyal to his kind, merciless to his enemies, he can be relentless but will admit defeat in either conversation or in battle if it is apparent he is on the wrong side of the truth. 

[u][b]| History |[/b][/u] 

Monty was birthed within the realm of Priscus, under banner of a small town called “Vale”. His mother, Maeve Icariat, is a “Gypsy”, and father, Alastair, a “Paladin”, labeled according to those few humans that gave up all they knew in their world to join Priscus who ended up in Vale. Monty’s path at an early age had already been decided by both his parents, both serving the great God-Queen only saw one track for their son after his birth, he too would serve her or one of the Exeo. His father asking for audience from the God-Queen was granted directly after his birth, the God-Queen only imparted a portion of Monty’s Vis, requested by Alastair. It was a way for Alastair to provide incentive and instill discipline. This forced Monty to not only rely on his Vis but himself first.

Monty’s parents would begin him young in education, he would first learn the traditions and laws of his people. Once understood, they would start teaching him on the Prae history and of his own bloodline. Once his feet were underneath him after the years progressed, he would be brought into the forest and mountains in Priscus that surrounded Vale. His father would train him in combat with a multitude of weapons, healing, absorbing damage, and telekinesis. When he would return home, his mother would guide him through meditation, which was her way of opening up his mind to his own Vis. Her expertise opened the door for Monty to understand his Vis on a spiritual level, giving him the mental strength to learn, telepathy, mind link, and persuasion.

It would be many years of this rigorous schedule that prepared him for the moment that they had all been waiting for. Monty, Maeve, and Alastair would make their pilgrimage to the great God-Queen who would unlock the rest of Monty’s true potential through her ability of making him a full Prae. When the ritual was completed, Monty could not have stood more proud even if taught too. He could feel his body flowing with rich energy that he had never sensed before. Everything he learned, he knew expanding on it was right at his finger tips. Standing tall, proud, with confidence of a thousand lions, it was then that Aismael approached him. She was there the same day as the Icariat’s, she would not have missed the ceremony of Alastair’s boy becoming a full Prae. 

Aismael offered a position to Monty on that very day, she knew how Alastair performed his duties directly next to the God-Queen, and had full expectations that Monty would follow suit. She wanted him by her side in Ominar just as the God-Queen had Alastair by her side in Priscus. It was without hesitation that Monty agreed to his new duties, it was an honor to have gained the approval of an Exeo as quickly as he did. He knew it was because of his father’s reputation, but he would not let that reputation be the only reason for his trust.





[u][b]| Belongings/Equipment |[/b][/u]

[b]+[/b] Imbued Shard [b]|[/b] A bluish white shard that shines bright when used, imbued by his father, given to him by his mother, it holds power to enhance Monty’s physical attributes (hearing, smell, sight, speed, agility) when activated and can be used to illuminate dark spaces.

[b]+[/b] Twin Songs [b]|[/b] Two blades that Monty carries with him at all times, gifts from his father, the two blades Avaryius Vale Icariat used during his service. These weapons are imbued to cut a rift in an enemy’s Vis to disorient their ability to wield their Vis with efficiency. When swung, the blades sing in the air, creating a sound track to the dance that is battle. These are physical weapons that apply their effects when cutting the flesh of Monty’s target.

[b]+[/b] Telepathy [b]|[/b] Monty’s mother, Maeve Icariat has guided him through this discipline, it is a specialty she has expertise in and now has passed her knowledge to Monty. The ability to enter, read, and dig into the minds of others upon contact. Headaches may occur when using this ability, and if used too often, disorientation or fainting are possible depending on the will of the victim.

[b]+[/b] Mind Link [b]|[/b] Monty learned this from his mother, he would practice on their family dog. A harmless exercise that gave him the ability to connect his mind, emotion, and thoughts with another living being, it can be used to reinforce his Vis through their’s. This can cause problems if the living being who he is connected to is harmed, killed, or falls ill, as it will impact Monty’s own mind as well.

[b]+[/b] Persuasion [b]|[/b] Another ability learned from training spiritually with his mother. Although this ability is in its infancy, it can prove to be quite useful as it grows stronger. It is not mind control but upon contact, Monty can implant a thought and action into another’s mind. That individual will then believe it to be their own thought and follow through with the action. The imprinted thought may not always take hold, and if the will of the individual is strong, implanting thoughts can backfire.


[u][b]| Physical |[/b][/u]

[b]+[/b] Healing [b]|[/b] A technique developed by his father’s training, still it is not as strong as it will be due to his age. Depending on the level of severity will determine the amount of Vis and time it will take to heal. Monty has the ability to heal minor wounds and breaks rather quickly, while severed limbs can never be restored, deep cuts, and internal damage will take longer.

[b]+[/b] Damage Absorb [b]|[/b] Monty can use his Vis to take damage from an enemy’s physical attack or Vis attack. This will chip away at his own Vis but it allows for his physical body to remain unharmed. The more damage he absorbs, the more Vis he depletes. 

[b]+[/b] Vistrength [b]|[/b] Monty applies his Vis as a conductor, it energizes the body by enhancing physical capabilities, this allows him to withstand, even halt heavier physical attacks, and deal stronger blows to his opponent. 

[b]+[/b] Art of Duo Caelorum & Unum Infernum [b]|[/b] 

- Duo Caelorum (Two Heavens) - This art was created by Avaryius Vale Icariat who mastered the ability of striking and defending simultaneously with two swords. Wielding with one hand allowed for more angles to attack from and defend with, it promoted fluidity, the principles stickung to tight movements, with no wasteful or flashy attacks.

- Unum Infernum (One Hell) - This art was created by Avaryius Vale Icariat who mastered the ability of countering and then becoming the aggressor. When losing your weapons in a fight, or having been caught off guard before your weapon can be deployed, one must opt to defend with their hands but only allowing their attacker to be an attacker for that split second. It is up to the challenged, after making a successful defense to then promote their offense and attack with more intensity than what which was brought to them by their aggressor. It is then that the defender becomes the aggressor and the aggressor must choose whether to continue fighting or run.

[u][b]| Magical/Technological |[/b][/u]

[b]+[/b] Touch Initiated Telekinesis [b]|[/b] An inherent power for the Prae, his father and mother have both built upon this power from their own knowledge and experience, mostly his father. The ability to move, push, deflect, objects in close proximity of his Vis, in order to activate such an ability he still must have contacted it before hand. This allows him to transfer his Vis over to what he wants to move and thus gaining control of it. 

[b]+[/b] Manifest [b]|[/b] Monty was granted to become a full Prae by the God-Queen herself, he as other Prae can manifest their Vis to its full potential, amplifying their abilities, two bright bluish green and white wings stretch from his back and into a 10‘ wing span. Monty can hold this manifestation for approximately 40 minutes, extending to 60 minutes if he is not exhausting himself.

[b]+[/b] Simple Augmentation [b]|[/b] Monty possesses great potential, along with an early start to training, he has been able to quickly learn what has been revealed to him. It is his youth that holds him back as he still matures into his body, limiting his ability to augment in a larger scale.
