[@Shoryu Magami] For the rules thing, I've definitely never seen anyone fighting over rules and items and such, the amount of legal stages available in competitive play make it nearly impossible to lose any more stages, there are like 5 that you can possibly play on 1v1, there are never items in competitive play, and in Melee no characters are banned, so that's good. Settings are also generally the same, 4 stocks 8 minutes. I haven't seen it differ, nor have I seen people rioting about it. For the latter category, that's typical for any game, console, or company. But I've seen Nintendo get as much hate for being Nintendo as Kingdom Hearts gets for being Disney. But yeah, that's not to say the nintendo community doesn't antagonize other gaming communities (It's been established and brought up more than once in the discussion that every community has its toxic fans) That actually makes me think though. I've been complaining about the anime community so much for its toxicity, but I've hardly (if at all) talked about the positives of the community. There are tons of toxic people in the community, but at the same time there are tons of nice, helpful people who actually want to partake in the community rather than attack their own fandom.
