After getting the horses last night, Kalar had opted to stay the night there, as he had seen some unsavory fellows traveling home back to their wives, with hands clenching their heads. He had not slept for he feared of losing the horses to thieves. His hand never left the hilt of his right sword. When the sun came out, he stood up from his position and hopped onto one of the horses. The horses trotted down the street when he saw the mage that had intruded on his client's and his deal. He was being led by a woman towards the stables. Making note of this, for it could become important for a getaway, he tied his two horses next to the opening of the inn. He went in and walked up the stairs. He looked in on many rooms, seeing a variety of occupants before finding his client. He was still asleep so Kalar reached down and shook him, with one hand on his sword and one eye on the door, looking to see if any eavesdroppers were around.
