Sasha, Matt, Enzo, Conroy, Violet, Nikki
[@King Tai][@dabombjk][@Josephb][@haleytherandom][@Wick] It was a couple of hours later that Violet woke up shivering so hard she couldn't stop. Her teeth were chattering but her skin was so hot that it was making Enzo sweat in his sleep.  Enzo woke up after a few hours since they had their moments that night. He was sweating and then looked over at Violet who's teeth were chattering and leaned over Purp?....Violet.....hey, Violet!, you okay!? he asked her getting really concerned. She was wearing her nightgown and covering up with everything she could, and all she could say was   "get Matt." She was in the fetal position shaking so hard she thought her teeth would break. Looking at her, getting scared by her actions, he hurried and got up, running out of the room Matt!....MATT!! he yelled out. Matt was still up and he took off hearing Enzo's panic. Rounding the corner and seeing an upset naked man was not what he had hoped for. "Put some shorts on and get in here." Matt picked up Violet and flipped her onto her stomach and raised the nightgown.   "Holy fuck..." ]/color]The blackened areas had become infected and her fever was getting too high. "Sasha! Meet me at the showers. Give Grace to Ingrid to watch. Enzo, you and your brother get dressed. You are going out." Matt ran Violet into the showers and turned it on cool which might as well have been a polar bear jump into a frozen lake to her. Her screaming could be heard all over the school. Sasha didn't hesitate at the call, scooping up Grace, and in a moment passed her off to Ingrid. She did make a quick stop to the infirmary, snatching up a few things that might help. If Violet's burns were bad, chances were she had lost a lot of fluid. She grabbed an IV bag she'd found, figuring this would probably be emergency enough, and then darted off to the showers, she stopped dead a moment, thinking. Then she darted off to the cafeteria, and the kitchen, grabbing a roll, she then dashed towards the showers, the few moments she had taken making her feel guilty as she heard Violets screams.  She skidded to a stop, and put down everything she had grabbed.  Enzo went and got his brother as Conroy hurried and got ready. He was fussing with his brother about being half naked but he managed to get his shit together and rushed with Enzo after he got dressed as well and went to where Matt was, hearing Violet's screams which were like painful stabs to the heart for Enzo to hear. He rushed in in a bit of a panic Fuck man....I told her that we should have gotten that looked at....but she insisted that she was fine. I should've gotten my ass up and got the ointment and shit like I was suppose to. This is my fuckin fault...dammit!! he said pacing back and forth. Conroy looked at him and slapped him Bro...calm the fuck down man....hey Matt...what do you need us to do, mon? he asked. Matt looked at them as Violet's screams quietted and she stopped fighting him as much. "Enzo, it's not your fault. I had a good feeling that this was gonna happen. I need supplies from the nearest hospital. Sasha knows what I need. So Babe I need you to go with them. Take the map on the table we were using earlier. There was a small hospital there. Take Darius and Robert too. And hurry!" Enzo calmed a little, nodding to what both his brother and Matt said as Conroy listened to the instructions and nodded looking to Sasha, ready to go on this mission to save Violet. Enzo had to be strong. He needed to help her but how was he to do that while in a panic. Conroy went to grab the map and brought it back over to the group ready to leave so they could get what they needed. We're ready! Sasha nodded and just hoped the hospital had what was needed. She darted off quickly, grabbing an empty pack, she also grabbed her hand gun, and dagger, hoping that the hospital wasn't over run by walkers, but knowing they'd get through it somehow to get the supplies they needed. There really was no other way. IV antibiotics were essential, and Sasha would also look for artifical skin, which would at least protect the burns from any further harm. The antibiotics were easy to describe, the skin not so much. She'd have to look for that herself, if it was there.  Rounding up Darius and Robert, she nodded to Enzo and Conroy, grabbing the keys to one of the cars, she led the way out, taking the map, and quickly studying it. If there was a clear path, they could be there quite quickly, but if not, they might have to detour around blockages. She hoped that wasn't the case.  Matt finally got Violet's fever down but they were pretty much soaked to the bone. Nikki had heard all the screaming and come down to the showers to find out who they were killing. When she opened the door she saw her brother soaked and picking up a very sick Violet . "Oh my god, Matt is she going to be okay? Why is she so gray?"  Matt wrapped Violet in a blanket and carried her through the halls to the infirmary.  "What do you need me to do?"   "Get her out of those clothes and into dry ones." Nikki went into Violet's room and got her a new nightgown and panties. While Matt went into his room to change his pants she got Violet dried and changed. Nikki saw the wounds on her back and she could hear Ingrid having trouble with Grace and she went into Ingrid's room and took Grace from her and told her to come out a minute.   "Gracie, baby can you sit with Ingrid a little while?" Grace didn't want Ingrid she wanted Sasha. Nikki whistled and the dog came over and she put Grace on a stack of pillows and she and the dog sat down and the dog gave her a bath in kisses. Matt came over and hooked up the IV Sasha had brought him and he had Nikki deliver it with steady pressure. Violet was laying on her stomach and was almost asleep.    "Nikki, I'm going to need you and Ingrid to hold her down if she starts to move too much. This should really hurt." Nikki covered Violet from the waist down with a blanket and her nightgown was removed while Matt made sure he had everything that he had at his disposal. After liberally sterilizing the instruments and her back  Matt picked up his scalpel and started debrieding her wound. Violet started crying but did her best not to move. Ingrid couln't have felt worse if she had tried. Ingrid got a straw and another bottle of whiskey. Within a few minutes Violet was not feeling much of anything. Matt removed a lot of infection and dead areas.  Sasha drove through the streets towards the hospital, not stopping if she could help it, she pulled the car up to the hospital. It was a single story building, stretching out in a cluster of buildings interconnected, she pulled up alongside an ambulance that had its doors wide open, a tire blown out. It looked to be the only one there, and Sasha had to wonder what happened to the rest, or if this was all the hosptial had. Glancing about, she pressed her hand on the horn, seeking to draw out any walkers. Three quick blasts, she then looked for any sign of the dead, before getting out the car. She kept a hand on her dagger, and had her gun in hand, as she approached the back of the ambulance. Looking in, she spied an empty, blood stained stretcher, but there were no dead inside. Climbing in the back, Sasha began to search it, but all the medications within had been taken. Still, Sasha grabbed the defib machine under the stretcher, an oxygen bottle and mask, and jumped back down. She'd check if the bottle was full later. She put them in the car, trusting the others to watch her back, before carefully approaching the emergancy entrance doors.  It was clear this was a small hospital, by looking in through a window, Sasha saw that the emergency room was small, and seemed to connect to the High dependancy/ICU unit, a long hall leading to another ward. Rapping her fisted hand on the door, she waited to see if any walkers would appear. It seemed though that none had heard, or they were there. Still, wary, Sasha stepped back, and pulled on the door, finding it locked. She turned to the others, hesitating. And then she decided that they couldn't afford to be subtle, and she grabbed the jack from the car, smashing the doors window, she carefully reached through to unlock the door, looking for walkers.  "Any fluid in a bag, grab it. Anything that looks like an IV port, you all know what they look like? And any syringes grab them too.  Grab whatever meds you can find" She figured that was the most important stuff, and Sasha went straight the to treatment room in the emergency department, checking every which way, she kept her ears peeled for walkers as well as her eyes, before she began to riffle through everything there. The emergency departments treatment room was small, although still large enough for a handful of doctors and nursing stuff to move around with a patient in the middle, meds along one wall, first aid supplies along another.  She began to shove whatever she could in her bag, taking medications that were antibiotics, both tablets and injection form, she remembered something. Going behind the nurses station, she studied a locked box. The digital code probably wouldn't work anymore, but the lock could be broken. Although she didn't think it would have to be. Looking over the station, she found a few keys, and relieved she wouldn't have to try and break open the box, she quickly flipped through the keys until she opened it. Drugs of dependancy, in otherwords narcotics, strong painkillers anything that was addictive was always locked away. She grabbed the morphine, slipping that in the bag carefully, she glanced about them, frowning over the lack of artifical skin. maybe there's a burn ward she hoped so. That would be were the artifical skin would most likely be needed.  Yet she knew the closer they got to the wards and patient rooms, the more likely it would be to run into walkers.Hungry, trapped walkers, and they fresh meat that had walked in willingly. But it had to be done. Even with what stuff they had, she knew the skin was the best chance. She quickly found a map of the hospital on the wall, writing off the HDU/ICU, the surgical ward, the general medical ward, finally finding a small burn ward, just off to the side. Her fingers brushed over a ward titled "paediatrics" wondering if they should stop and get supplies for Nikki, but Violet was the bigger concern.  Finally she heard sounds of walkers. She hadn't expected to get through the building without facing them, and she slung her pack over a shoulder, grabbing her gun and dagger again, she approached the others, seeing a handful of walkers stumbling, shuffling and otherwise making their way towards them. As the others began to attack the walkers, dispatching them quicker then she could even choose a target, she carefully walked forward when it seemed like the coast was clear.  As they made their way through the hospital, running into more walkers, Sasha decided she didn't particularly want to stop by the childrens ward. What if there were walker babies? That thought distressed her, as she plunged her dagger into the skull of a walker with sun-tanned skin that was sloughing off. Finally she turned towards the burn ward. This ward was smaller then the others, and Sasha didn't have much hope of finding what she wanted.  As the others began to search the ward for walkers, she began to search for what she wanted. She was losing hope as it took longer and longer, and was resigned to going back without it, when she saw something that attracted her attention. It was something she'd only read about in research papers, something still quite in a design phase but was being used in some hospitals across the world before the outbreak. A small box-machine, that had what appeared to be a hose with a spray nozzle on the end. She nearly whooped, rushing over it it. While it wasn't as fast as artifical skin, the machine would cultivate skin cultures from Violet herself, and develop skin that could be sprayed on, with less risk of rejection. it would take a few hours, but it the long run, it would be better. If they got Violet stable, this would be perfect. Knowing she wouldn't be able to carry it for long, she enlisted one of the others to carry it, and deciding that they had spent enough time, started to lead the way back out.  More walkers had gathered, drawn by their presence, the noise they were making, but now that they had what they wanted, Sasha wasn't about to let the dead stop them. With the others, she helped to take them down, quickly pushing a medical cart in between them and the walkers to limit the number that could approach, and make it easier to stab them. The hardest part would be stepping around the bodies, with what they now had. After a moment,  when it was all clear, or so she hoped, Sasha pushed the cart back out the way, stepping gingerly over and around the bodies.  Running out the hosptial, there was a small herd of walkers, perhaps attracted by her beeping the horn earlier, shuffling towards the hosptial. Deciding that was something for another time, she jumped into the car, waiting for the others to get in, before starting back.
