And like I said, flamebait is subjective, just as I pointed out being somewhat irked by the characterisation of the arena as a community wasn't an issue for some people but it was issue for others. Also there is a lot of passive aggressive mentioning of 'certain people on this site' and 'some members on here' which could be interpreted as toxic (not by me, just giving examples). The best way to moderate drama is through intent not by content. If I mean it as a joke then its a joke, if someone doesnt appreciate the joke then they can let me know and I will react accordingly with an apology/explanation etc. If you encourage mature resolutions then drama will be resolved more often than not on its own.
Most things are subjective, yeah. Technically, that comment irked you but it had no impact on me at all, so it's fairly apparent that it was definitely a subjective situation. I don't particularly view my comments as passive aggressive simply because I almost certain that the people I'm referring to (there's one exception, but since you're using it as an example I'll go with it, especially since it's no longer passive aggressive if the exception person in question was named, which they were) will neither be looking at this thread nor are most of them actually aware I have an issue with them since I've not made a scene out of it. If everyone on this site decides to automatically assume I'm referring to them then that's just paranoia; everyone has an issue with at least a few people here, I would imagine. I do encourage mature resolutions, so if it actually does end up becoming an issue at some point, as you said, it'll be revolved without any real problem. As for moderating through intent rather than the content, that's precisely why I asked you in the first place; getting an idea of what was posted and understanding why it was posted were two sides of the same coin to me. You've given me a good answer, so there's no problem.
