[@LadyRunic] If it didn't defend Spring?  Yes, yes I would.  It let a bunch of fey get slaughtered, it let the ruler it had a decent relationship with perish.  I suppose that maybe it requires someone to activate said protections, but then there would be a fey on duty for that at all times.  If it had to be the ruler, then Spring is out of luck with their current ruler dead until a new one is installed.  Might handwave it and have Sini use it to put up a barrier, but with the invaders already in Spring Iunno how effective that'd be.
