[@cloudystar] Alright, sorry for taking awhile! Finally finished. Do tell if there are problems, and I am up for changing anything. Decided to let her try and learn some magic spells unassisted later. Might you be in need of assistance in some matter?"
Name Alena Liatris Race: Elf Sex: Female Age 17 Appearance: Standing at a lithe and graceful looking five foot seven, Lena, as she prefers to be called looks like your stereotypical elf. Long, bright blond hair falls to her back, typically tied in a braid and not doing much to hide the typical pointed ears of her people. She has bright blue eyes, and a pale, but unblemished complexion. She weighs a fairly light 135 pounds, and doesn't particularly look all that physically impressive if someone were to take an initial look at her, and might find it somewhat comical that she's using a sword about as big as she is. As far as clothing and attire goes, Lena wears light metal armor mixed with leather cloth in order to maintain a bit of mobility while still allowing for some fairly decent defense. The armor itself is colored in blues and golds, and around her waist is a leather belt with a few pouches on it for storing items. Background: Born in Regnum Magnopere, Lena was just like any other elf when she was born into a relatively middle-class family. For the most part, her life was fairly average growing up. Loving parents, a small circle of friends, and for the most part viewed the world with rose-colored glasses. She wanted more than anything, to grow up and be able to help people as an adventurer of sorts. Unfortunately, as she turned fourteen, it became increasingly clear that unlike most other elves, she had little talent for the arcane and for magical studies and things in general. This, well, made the other elves her age shun her somewhat. While they were off doing excellent in academics and arcane studies, she was off struggling to make sense of something as simple as how a rank 1 spirit worked. She tried not to let it get to her and she kept a more positive outlook. If she wasn't any good with arcane stuff, she'd try to learn swordsmanship. Eventually, she found someone willing to teach an insistent little elf which end you were supposed to stab things with, and how not to stab yourself with the weapon. From the age of fourteen until sixteen, she did her best to learn, until the older swordsman had nothing left to teach and told her if she wanted to get better, go look inside the tower. So she did. It was difficult getting someone to take her, objectively a novice into the tower, especially higher levels. With a little insistence and persuading though, she finally found someone to humor her and even let her accompany them all the way to level 10! It was an opportunity she wasn't going to pass up. Certainly, she supposed it might have looked like a shady deal to someone else, but for Lena? It was the perfect chance to at least get a little experience. Maybe someone else would have seen it coming, but Lena didn't. The party was eventually attacked by wild spirits on the floor. A bit more than they could handle themselves...and they conveniently had an inexperienced adventurer they could use as a distraction. Leaving Lena to the more than figurative wolves, they fled. Lena of course, was more than a little terrified and likely would have died if not for the timely intervention of someone who would grow to be her best friend. "Well, that was fun to watch, elf. Those guys leave you to die...that's pretty terrible. It'd be pretty funny if I could just kill ya, but I think it might be more fun if I help ya." Tania. For whatever reason, the impish little beast-kin had been watching the whole thing for her own amusement, and decided to help her out. She allowed Lena to contract her, and since then the two have been fairly stalwart companions, with Lena constantly putting up with the pixies selfish seeming whims. Despite that, Lena adores the little spirit, and the spirit has even helped Lena out and helped her understand magic to a basic point, but she is still unable to use it effectively unassisted by her. Personality: Bright, upbeat, a bit of a klutz, but somewhat naive, idealistic and simplistic in her world views. At her core, she truly believes that everyone is good, even if they don't know it themselves. Typically, she's all smiles and giggles, and would do anything for anyone she considers a friend or a stranger. She'd be the first to step in if someone needed help with anything. That said, she isn't naive to the point where she won't fight - she will defend herself and others with her sword if need be, even if she would rather talk things out. She abhors fighting, and only sees it as a last resort option for anything. Even in the tower, she only fights things if she has too, preferring to move through them without fighting. Even so, she still hones her skills so that even should she be forced into fighting she can defend herself and the innocent people she has to and does her best to try and keep a level head in most situations. Unfortunately, at times, she tries to put on a brave and upbeat face when she really isn't alright. Lena suffers heavily from a lack of confidence, as well as a bit of lack of self esteem at times, often questioning whether or not she's good at what she does. She's by no means an expert swordsman, and as much as she tries to convince herself she's a bringer of justice and peace, she more often then not screws up quite a bit at times. Soul Partner: Tania Skills: -Swordsmanship -Fairly Agile. -Can cook fairly well Spells: -Healing Hands: A small healing spell. Isn't going to be curing anything big. At most, a few scrapes and bruises. Never seen a beast-kin before? Maybe I should eat you. I bet that'd be fun. What? Think I can't? Pfft, you wanna-oooow. Leeena, he was making fun of me!"
Name: Tania Species: Beast-Kin, Demon Appearance: not even a foot tall and her weight probably wouldn't register on a scale, Tania might be best described as a 'Pixie that thinks she's some high-ranking demon lord'. She has a black dress that is cut off just above the knees, and wears long stockings with heels. Bright blue butterfly looking wings extend form her back, with two sharp horns jutting from her forehead, and parting her silvery white hair, with smaller ones in between.
